December Week 2 Activity
Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10th December. As part of Desh Apnayen’s efforts to engage students on certain Days of National and International Importance, we are presenting a workshop on Child Rights.
The 1.5 hour session will be held on Zoom on 10th December from 2 to 3:30 pm for students from Class 7 to 10 and for the teachers. There is no charge to attend the workshop, and it is open to both partner and non-partner schools of Desh Apnayen.

About the Facilitators:
Ms. Priya Subnis Arte is the Founder Director & COO, Centre for Social and Behaviour Change Communication, which uses evidence-based communication strategies to bring about social and behavioural change. Its founder director Mr. Nishit Kumar was instrumental for the first draft of what was to be passed in the Indian Parliament as the POCSO Act.
Ms. Subnis Arte also leads the Adolescent Mental Health program of SBC3 and is a Trustee of the Pranic Healing Foundation of South Mumbai.
Ms. Pooja Yadav is the Programme Head (UNICEF project) at SBC3.
